This year, readers of the Spanish edition of the prestigious travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler have chosen the Ocean Coral & Turquesa hotel as the best international resort from a list of finalists that included a selection of the world´s best hotels. The hotel had previously won this same award in 2009. The award was presented on Thursday 25 April to Miguel Estarellas, Sales Director of H10 Hotels, at the awards ceremony organised by the magazine in the Cecilio Rodríguez Gardens in Madrid´s Retiro Park.

The event was attended by a number of representatives from the tourist sector as well as such well-known personalities as the designer Manolo Blahnik, models Malena Costa, Nieves Álvarez, Almudena Fernández and Eugenia Silva and the doctor Elena Barraquer, who received an award for her charitable work which has led her to travel around the world. The Ocean Coral & Turquesa is a five-star beachfront resort located in Puerto Morelos on the Mayan Riviera.
